What people say about us
I would certainly recommend the Drama Llamas approach for the development of speech and language. The sessions encourage listening skills, imagination and the expression of emotions, thus nurturing good communication skills in a structured yet fun way
- Janet Sutherland, Speech and language therapist.
The children are completely captivated from the moment the class begins, and with the fun and engaging stories and their involvement in them, remain that way for the entire class!
- Angela, with Grace, aged 4.
My children and I love Drama Llamas - it's the highlight of Arthur's week. I love the positivity and energy of the sessions and the clever way that they're structured to reinforce communicative skills. My background is English language / linguistics and I spent a lot of time studying language acquisition/development & looking at non-linguistic communication - I think the way you've built up the sessions works in a really positive way to let the children realise how your characters communicate using language and/or body language and then imitate that themselves, which broadens their own realms of communication in turn
- Ailsa (with Arthur, 3 ½ , Sofia, 3 ½ and Rufus, 1.)
My best thing is when we pretend to be other people and make faces like them
- Arthur (aged 3 ½).
This is the best activity I do with my 3 ½ year old each week. Freddie talks of Drama Llamas throughout the week and the notes that you are passed at the end of each class make you feel like super mum – as you can develop the discussion on what has been going on throughout the class! Thank you!
- Juliet, with Freddie,3 ½ and Luke, 1 .
I like seeing what’s in the box, it’s like magic
- Freddie (aged 3 ½).
I think it's great to see a group of children hanging on every word of the story, desperate to find out what is about to happen next. They connect with the characters and show their understanding of the story in the group activities ! Brilliant !!!!
- Jo, with Lily, aged 4.
I like hearing the stories about the little girl called Sophia the best!
- Lily (aged 4).
Great! Vibrant, energised leader & session which instantly captured my child. Great pitching at this developmental age
- Sarah, with Benjamin, aged 2.5.
Brilliant! Even after
our very first session, my 2 year old has spontaneously
initiated creative play based on themes he acted out at Drama
llamas.
- Caroline, with Mac, aged 2.5.
My 2 year old loved being a Drama Llama today, he was mesmerised by the story and got really involved with pretending to be bored, happy, sad and excited. And he was still clutching his red balloon when he fell asleep this afternoon
- Beth, with James, aged 2.
